Tommy has played with many well known acts such as KISS, Gene Simmons, Doro Pesch, Silent Rage, Warrant, Lita Ford, and Neil Giraldo.
Tommy has hosted Tommy Amato Rock Relief and annual cancer benefit for Cleveland musicians since 2004. Tommy has also been A Guitar Center Drum Off judge from 2011 – 2016.
